Your community page
Give your community its own page at Community/@name with your game servers live, who's playing, news, polls, reviews and a chat, and make it look the way you want.
On this page
Every listed community gets its own page on Farm Sim Game at /Community/@your-name. It shows
your game servers live with who's playing on them, your news and polls, recent server activity,
your reviews and your community chat. Players can Follow your community to get a notice when
you post, and Join Discord from the header if you switch that button on (Header tab). Cards on the
Communities list never link straight to Discord: they open your page.
Your page goes public once your community is on the Community listing.
Its address is the same name you picked there, so /Community/your-name links keep working: they
open the new page.
What every community gets, and what Supporters add#
| Every community | With an FSG Supporter tier | |
|---|---|---|
| Icon and background image | Yes | Yes |
| Blue Verified check next to your name (also on your Communities card) | No | Yes |
| Tagline, About, badges, announcement bar, Discord invite | Yes | Yes |
| Social links and share buttons | Yes | Yes |
| News posts and polls | Yes | Yes |
| Roadmap and changelog | Yes | Yes |
| Chat with #announcements, #general and #server-help | Yes | Yes |
| Game server feeds in the chat | Yes (admin changes need a tier) | Yes |
| Themes, accent colour, fonts, corners, patterns, header video, header and layout | FSG Classic look | Yes |
| Your own order of sections and custom titles | Standard layout | Yes |
| Your own blocks (rules, schedule, countdown, video, gallery, FAQ, buttons) | No | Yes |
| Your own chat channels (up to 10) | No | Yes |
| Fan support from your players | No | Yes |
If your tier ends, your page goes back to the FSG Classic look. Nothing you set up is deleted, so it all comes back when you're a Supporter again.
Set it up#
It's under Community page in the sidebar. The live preview on the right shows your page as players see it.
On the Look tab. Without an icon, your Discord server's icon shows; without a background, your listing banner does.
On the Header tab: a tagline, badges like Looking for farmers or Weekly events, and your About text.
In News & polls, write a post about your next event or a new season, or start a poll.
In Chat & server feeds, pick a game server. Its joins, leaves and status show in your chat from then on.
Open your community page editor
You can also get there from your community page itself: your avatar menu at the top right has a Manage community list (dashboard, page editor, news, events, chat, game servers, listing, staff and fan support) for anyone who runs the community. If you run more than one, it switches your dashboard to this community first.
News and polls#
Posts can be News, Event, Server update, Mod list, Giveaway or Recruiting, with up to 8 images and a YouTube video, and can be about one of your game servers. Pin one to keep it on top. When you publish, followers get a notice (and an email, unless they turned emails off for your community).
Polls can close by themselves after a day to a month, allow more than one answer, and show results after voting, always, or only when they close.
Roadmap and changelog#
In Roadmap & changelog, list what's coming (a new season, another server, an event, a bigger mod pack) as Planned, In progress or Done, with a rough date and the server it's for. Players see it as a board on your page's Roadmap tab, and the home tab shows what's in progress. Mark something Done and your followers can get a notice.
The Changelog is a dated list of what changed: mods, rules, the map or savegame, server settings. When one of your server feeds reports a mod list change, it's added by itself, so players coming back can see what's new. Delete any entry you don't want.
Monthly votes#
Every signed-in player can vote for your community once a day with the Vote button in your page's header. Votes count towards the month: the Top communities board starts again on the 1st, so newer communities get a fair chance every month. Your page's Monthly votes section shows this month's votes, your rank, your top voters and, if you made the top 3 last month, that too. Cards on the Communities list show your votes this month.
Votes are a thank-you from your players, not a purchase: don't offer anything in the game for them. Ask your players to vote for you once a day.
Reviews and verified players#
Players rate and review your community on the Reviews tab. Reviews from players who really play on your servers show Verified player, with the hours they've played: at least 1 hour on your game servers with their game account linked to their Farm Sim Game account, or an approved farm claim on one of them. Visitors can switch to Verified players to read only those, and your page shows the rating from verified players next to the overall one.
Link players with the Assign Discord User Id button on the bot's new player post, or from the Players list on your game server's page (see Player stats). The badge follows the link: unlink a player and their review loses it.
Socials and sharing#
On the Header tab, add links to your website, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Steam group, Patreon or Ko-fi. They show as icons under your community's name and in the Socials & sharing section, which also has buttons players use to share your page: copy link, X, Facebook, Reddit, WhatsApp, Bluesky, email, and their phone's own share menu.
Address#
Your page lives at Community/@name. Google and other search engines list it at that address, and
it's in every link your players have shared, so think before changing it:
- Links with the old address stop working, and any other community can take the old name.
- Search results show the old address for a while. It can take days or weeks for your page to show up at the new one.
- You can change it once every 30 days.
To change it, type the new name on the Address tab (it tells you as you type whether it's free), then press Change address. A box shows what will happen and a short code: type the code to confirm. The Community listing page shows your address with a link here; it's the only place to change it.
Saving your changes#
Change something on the Look tab and the preview shows it straight away, but it isn't saved yet: a bar at the bottom of the screen says You have unsaved changes. Press Save changes to keep them, or Reset to go back to what's saved. The same bar shows on the Sections tab and on every dashboard page with settings to save, and your browser asks before you leave a page with unsaved changes.
Found on Google and in shared links#
Listed community pages are in the site's sitemap, so search engines find them, and each tab has its own title and description. A link to your page shared in Discord or on social media shows your name, your tagline, how many servers and members you have and your rating, with your background as a big picture (or your icon when you have no background) and your accent colour down the side in Discord. News posts and events get their own previews. Pages that aren't listed, and editor previews, stay out of search results.
Troubleshooting#
Players say my page isn't available#
Your community has to be listed. Turn on Enable Discovery on the Community listing page.
The theme I picked doesn't show#
Themes, fonts and layouts need an FSG Supporter tier for this community. Without one, the page uses FSG Classic with your icon and background.
