Community events
Plan farming sessions, harvest convoys, contract nights and new saves on your community page. Players RSVP, get a reminder before it starts, and find you on the community events calendar.
On this page
Events show on your community page's Events tab, in the Upcoming events section of your home tab, and on the site-wide community events calendar, where players looking for something to join can find you. Every time is shown in each player's own time zone.
Players press Going, Maybe or Can't go. Everyone who's going or maybe gets a reminder (a notice, and an email if they get emails) about an hour before it starts, and can add it to their own calendar with Google Calendar or Add to calendar (.ics). The event page lists who's coming.
Add an event#
It's under Community page in the sidebar.
A name, the kind (farming session, harvest convoy, contract night, new save or season, giveaway, community meeting, stream), when it starts in your own time, how many hours, and the game server.
Leave Tell our followers on to send your followers a notice.
You can edit an event, Cancel it (everyone who RSVPed sees it as cancelled) or delete it.
Show it in your Discord server too#
If your community is a Discord server, leave Also add it to our Discord server as an event on and the FSG bot makes a matching event in your server's Events list, with a link back to the event page so members can RSVP on the website too. When you edit the event on the website, the Discord event follows within a minute or two. When it starts, the bot starts the Discord event, so Discord tells everyone who marked themselves Interested. Cancel, delete or switch it off and the bot removes it from Discord.
The bot needs the Create Events (or Manage Events) permission in your server. Next to each event, In Discord opens the Discord event. If the bot couldn't add it, the reason shows there. Make changes on the website: edits made in Discord get replaced the next time you save the event.
Starting a new save#
Players love joining on day one. Add a New save / season event before you start over and it shows under Starting soon on Fresh starts, where players look for new servers. Once the new savegame is running, Farm Sim Game sees it by itself: for 14 days the server shows under Just started, with a Fresh save badge on your community page and on your card in the directory. Nothing to switch on, but the server needs savegame scanning (the same scan that fills its farm stats).
Discord farming sessions#
Farming sessions you make with the bot's /server event command show up here by themselves, marked
Discord, so players can RSVP on the website too. Their name and times follow Discord: change them
there. You can still add a kind, a game server and details on the website.
